Garage Tear Down Day 2

I know I am a little late posting these - that darn Google scheduler has been down and put a damper on my posting ability.

Here is Day Two of the Garage Tear Down! We are making progress - the Bronco is now very visible.

This is a testament to FORD PRODUCTS - They did not claim bankruptcy and even the garage roof can fall down on them and they still hold up!

Anyone want to buy a Bronco? 1995 Eddie Bauer just let me know!

This was towards the end of Day 1 of the Tear Down. We only had one bay cleared and working on the next 3.

At the end of Day two - we have all 3 bays cleared - the 4th bay is full of the tar paper just like what is in front of the garage. There was alot of tar paper on that roof - more than we knew about!

Can you believe the Bronco is still standing? After the amount of weight that was on her it is amazing that she was not totally squashed!

Day three will be to remove all the roofing material - had to get another container which cost us another $350.00!!! ARGHHH! Just when I think I can save - but it's okay - it came out of the EF so I'll try and get it refunded ASAP!
Well as you can see the roof is dented and the windshield will need to be replaced - but look the two side view mirrors are still standing and the antena popped right back up!!! She's dirty but we'll get her cleaned up!
I'll post pics from Day 4 - I did not take pics of day 3 - I was looking at everything that I could throw out of the house - SHHHH - don't tell Bear that I'm going to be filling the dumpster with some drywall from the house!!! That is the next project!

I thank the Lord for our neighbors Steve and Glenn - if it wasn't for those two we would probably still be on the first bay!!! I'm going to cook our famous Cheese Enchiladas for them when we are done and give them a gift card to a nice restaurant. It is the least we can do for their help!

That's how it should be - neighbors helping neighbors but now a days no one knows who is living next door to them and that is a terrible shame!
